The Alphas of Prairie View was created in November 2020 and funded primarily through generous donations of our alumni brothers. The organization is created to provide scholarship and other support to the members and former alumni members. Listed below are the exciting things the organization will be engaged.
The Alphas of Prairie View Inc. is an 501(c)(7) social organization formed by Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity brothers associated with Prairie View A&M University.
Our Mission
The mission of the Alphas of Prairie View Inc. organization is to create, encourage, and sustain fraternal, financial, and personal relationships between the college chapter (Eta Gamma chapter of Prairie View A&M University) and Alpha Phi Alpha members who were previously initiated at Eta Gamma, or non-Eta Gamma chapter Alpha members that previously spent time at PVAMU while attending graduate school, working, or serving in any other capacity affiliated with the university.
Our Vision
Our PV Alphas organization strives to provide avenues for leadership development, sustain both collegial and professional relationships, while also building bonds and strengthening ties between members of Alpha Phi Alpha affiliated with Prairie View A&M University.
The organization has the following overarching goals and purpose:
- Support the development of financial opportunities to all Alpha Brothers (college and alumni) affiliated with Prairie View A&M University;
- Develop and promote an Alpha Professional Network between brothers of Eta Gamma chapter and all other Alphas brothers associated with Prairie View A&M University ;
- Develop opportunities to support and promote the fraternal bond and fellowship between members of the Alphas Of Prairie View Inc. organization.
As a 501(c)(7) charitable corporation, the Alphas of Prairie View, Inc. (tax id # 85-2351039) provides you with numerous opportunities to support Alphas of Prairie View, Inc., ensure our future, and impact your current and future tax liabilities as well. Gifts may be either unrestricted or established for a specific purpose. All gifts to the organization are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Your support is essential for the ongoing success of Alphas of Prairie View, Inc.
