In 1969 – 1970, the Officers of the Epsilon Iota extension chapter were Kenneth Hinson, President; James Ealy, Vice-President; James Hansborough, Treasurer; Richard Blair, Chaplain; June Lloyd, Recording Secretary; James Tarver, Corresponding Secretary; Isaac Gouldsby, Dean of Pledges; Arthur Lattany; Dean of Probates; Gerald Carrington, Asst. Dean of Probates.
Seven of the thirteen Naval Graduating Senior were Alphas, they were known as the Prairie View Golden Thirteen. Five went on to be promoted to CAPT (Kenneth Hinson, James Tarver, David Mosby, James Ealy, and Charles White) and one was promoted to Vice Admiral, David Brewer.
